Over the past 40 years, Pierrejean Design Studio has specialized in the interior design of aircraft, yachts, and most recently in the architecture, automotive, and railway industries. Recently, Founder and CEO Jacques Pierrejean made the decision to lead his company in a new direction by renaming the brand PIERREJEAN VISION.  As its new name suggests, Pierrejean Vision is a company with its eyes set on the future, looking to challenge design standards and create new and unique projects across a wide variety of industries.

As a way to introduce his style and showcase his unique approach to design, Mr. Pierrejean has recently produced an interview series, which will be published bi-monthly on his YouTube channel. The series will capture firsthand his entire philosophy of design, from early beginnings with Dassault Aviation to the transition into yachting and other industries. Along the way, he will reflect on his greatest inspirations (nature and the human body), share the personal insights gained on his path, and describe the biggest challenges he has encountered over the course of his career.

EPISODE 2: Design from Nature
Where does one find inspiration? For Jacques Pierrejean, the natural world has always held the key. Whether through a dolphin’s sleek lines, a gnarled olive tree, or the human body in mid-air, the spark has always existed out there to be found. Gone are the days of doing a project simply to satisfy a customer’s needs; in this next evolution of his work, Jacques Pierrejean vows to do more, always returning to the base of his inspiration: nature.
